    Also the bed was comfortable, the owner was really nice.

    As a counterbalance to these good points - In our view the accommodation is at the stage where it needs some investment and also our room was grubby - the standard of cleanliness was below what we expected.

    The mountain views from all the rooms are gorgeous and the owners are very accommodating.

    The great price and the room I stayed in had nice hard wood floors.

    The room I stayed in had nice hard wood floors and had been hand stenciled, which was a nice touch.

    They also provided us with a 10% discount card for breakfast at a local restaurant which was great.

    The owners gave us tips about where to get both dinner and breakfast.

    A great hotel and friendly home town service.

    A spotless room and i'm a big supporter of the local movement.

    Don't get me wrong the place was both clean and spacious but the noise from the other rooms was a bit much.

        The proximity of the motel to the historic downtown area of Salida and provides great value for your dollar. Also the bed was comfortable, the owner was really nice.
