Cinnamon Grand Hotel Colombo - 可倫坡

My husband spent his childhood in the road next to the hotel and we have family nearby so the location was ideal for us.

Great location, good hotel and the main lobby is being renovated.

Good things first: the location is fantastic and the homely Cheers bar is a great place for a snack or a quiet drink.

30 minutes later, I had to have them hand write me a receipt so I could get to the airport.

The driver picked me up from the airport was extremely friendly and everything about the Cinnamon Grand was just perfect.

The standard rooms are fine - free newspaper fruit and chocolates delivered every day- broadband access at $12 a day - tea/coffee in room, bath/shower combo and comfortable bed.

Deluxe" room was shabby, bed shoved against wall, carpet threadbare, mirror badly marked and 'view' onto combo of shacks/construction site.

The bathroom smelled of urine my entire stay and the bath tub was not very clean.

Fantastic service, comfortable bed and 7 restaurants catering different kind of food.

The bathroom was very spacious with a large tub & separate standing shower (which had a slight leaking problem).

The food at all the restaurants was really good, but at almost every restaurant, I had to have my bill redone, because they tried to over charge me at every turn.

The restaurants are expensive but the quality of food is good, with an additional star to ECHO, the italian restaurant next door.

We enjoyed all the restaurants esp the new Tao fusion restaurant overlooking the fish ponds.

The room was modern and pretty spacious, the breakfast buffet was great and I loved the choice of restaurants.

The restaurants good to very good - the Lagoon (seafood) restaurant was excellent - fresh and very reasonably priced.

The lobby has a bar becomes very lively in the evenings, great Service and concierge were so helpful.

The hotel insulates you from this tension very nicely, the staff- friendly and polite, the food was lovely - both room service.

Superb service of high quality in every way possible - breakfast, staff friendly and the bathrooms were really nice.

Housekeeping services were excellent and the concierge was helpful in arranging an ayurvedic massage for us.

The gym & spa area are gorgeous & squeaky clean, as well as the pool.

The new gym in the adjacent building was not half bad and the lobby was lively.

The Crescat foodcourt was clean and very cheap when we didn't feel like a 5 star blowout and the rooftop pool, steam rooms, saunas and jacuzzis of the spa are free for hotel guests.

The room - Maybe a little faded, but clean and above average in all respects.

A huge lobby, very helpful forever smiling staff and the rooms were spotless.

The pool staff are very friendly, the rooms are clean and the Taprobane buffet is superb value.

The bathrooms are spotless and the food is so good at the Lagoon we dined there twice.

The room was very spacious, clean and very light.
