On the negative side, we stayed in a "semi-double room" and WOW it was small, even by Japanese standards.

I could almost touch both sides of the room if I held my arms outstretched!

The breakfast buffet was quite good and had both Western & Japanese food available.

It's on one of the main streetcar routes and there's an excellent Okonomiyaki restaurant just opposite the hotel.

I'm not sure if the front desk speak English or not, as I checked in and out in Japanese, which they seemed much more comfortable with!
