The hotel is always comfortable, old stately home that retains some of its former charm and for the price is a great offering.

Great location, rooms comfortable a little "1990's" in decor and spa/Club: The staff were welcoming.

Not far from Southampton airport and due to my long drive.

Bed was so comfortable, best thing was the lovely meal in the restaurant the grounds were lovely too and food/Drink: I found the dinner excellent.

Bed was very comfy and food was excellent.

Overall a lovely building, helpful staff and the bed was comfortable.

Welcoming and friendly staff, bed comfortable, the coffee making facilities were all up-to-date.

The leisure facilities nearby are very good, waiting staff are friendly and efficient, our TV didn't work so they changed our room at 10.

Our room was adequate, i had a very good evening meal in the restaurant and the spa/swimming facilities were an excellent bonus.

The rooms are well furnished, the bar is in the atrium and fine, the standard of food is exactly as was on our wedding day - Perfect.

The fitness centre was well equipped, the breakfast & setting were great and all staff were really friendly and helpful.

The bar area is large, very suitable for our short stay prior to a cruise holiday and the facilities are very good - good staff.

The staff in the restaurant are great and the gardens are wonderful.

Also the old house is lovely, a happy staff is a happy and for our breakfast we paid an extra £4 to have room service.

Upgraded room to main house & new room was excellent, convenient and staff were friendly and helpful, the Receptionist was lovely.

Reception staff were pleasant, the room was nice and the breakfast was ample and fresh and varied.

We enjoyed being able to use the Leisure Centre is very well run, nice character of hotel Good choice for breakfast and the excellent check in staff especially the Receptionist went out of her way to find a suitable room for my wife had an injured knee.

Jacuzzi in the members club made the weekend break special, my suggestion : put a a complete meal and free use of the gym.

Pool facilities were very modern and clean.

The standard of food is exactly as was on our wedding day - Perfect, gym facilties are excellent.

Bathroom was clean and restaurant was very good service.

Nice to stay in a property 100 years ago was somebody's home, all staff were extra helpful and friendly, rooms were clean.

    The location from London easy access and good standard of room for the age of the hotel. Also staff are very helpful and friendly, the water didn't return the next morning, the bar is in the atrium and fine. Breakfast is excellent and gardens are lovely.

    Good location for getting into southampton city and nice hotel. Overall a lovely building, helpful staff and the bed was comfortable. The food was excellent and quiet and the beaautyiful gardens made this an ideal start to our holiday cruise.

    Convenient location and good value hotel. Wonderful main building, very pleasant staff and the room seems adequate. Nice jacuzzi and light meals.

    The price has increased to 30 pounds per night more than a year ago and boring interior. In addition the cut-off time for using the pool is too early at 9:15pm - especially loud music is played 11:30pm.

    A pretty location in attractive gardens, beautiful setting and the staff were very good. Bed was so comfortable, best thing was the lovely meal in the restaurant the grounds were lovely too and food/Drink: I found the dinner excellent. The spa was fantastic.
