I'm talking about these new hotels that are like 'design' or 'boutique' hotels without paying the silly expensive prices and they are not part of a big hotel chain.
It does not profess to be 5 star, but for the price you pay, you get a modern, stylish, clean, cool and enjoyable hotel to stay in.
Overall I cant say enough good things about this hotel it really is that good value, and particularly suited to couples.
We were both EXTREMELY HAPPY with the hotel and it's well worth the money.

Situated is reasonable, location great for touring Barcelona - a must visit are the arabian baths located behind the hotel and the staff is extremely friendly.
The location is good - very close to funky shopping in El Born and the hotel is located in a great area.
Also note it is in a great location, 5 minutes walk from the nearest Metro station and a short walk from the railway station where the Airport train terminates.
Nearest stop is Jaume metro, with the airport train stopping very close by as well (5 minute walk).

We didn't have breakfast in the bar/restaurant, The White Room, but we did have a drink in there.
The furnitures are great, i skipped having breakfast at the stylish White Bar and very easy to communicate too as they all speak english or french.
The room was lovely and as the breakfast at the white bar was fine.
My only caveats: the bar and restaurant's opening hours are erratic.
The White Bar (part of the hotel) says it is a cocktail bar as well as restaurant, it isn't - but looked good if you dont want to walk anywhere.
Big shower in the center of the room, good atmosphere and the front desk staff were extremely helpful.
Location was excellent, hotel was great and the staff on reception were really helpful.
The location was fabulous, the funky design made up for lack of space and service of the staff was friendly and helpfull.
The superb location within the Born neighborhood, nice atmosphere and the staff working in reception were very helpful.
There is a small gym and little areas where you can sit around the hotel.
It had 2 windows that when you opened them, you looked out on an old elevator shoot.
There is also free internet access, mini-gym (if you feel that way inclined when you are on your hols!
The shower is in the middle of the room which is not clear from the pictures on travel agents websites!
Rooms are clean, and of an interesting design.
Rooms were clean and comfortable and the design quite modern and cool.
Clean & comfortable, excellent beds, very modern, free web access and snacks, staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
She did a lot for me in as far as continually checking with the maids and trying to make sure I got the first clean room available.
