Chateau Marmont is definitely the place to be seen in the Hollywood Hills. The rich and famous love the Gothic interior and the Hollywood history and charm that this hot spot is known for. The rooms are all decorated differently which will amaze guests. The outdoor bar should not be missed, but sometimes the service is a bit stand-offish.

                  • The location was perfect for visiting Universal, the most comfortable bed of any hotel Ive slept in and the two spacious suites we stayed in had a '40s film noir style.

                      The pool area was secluded and quiet, my stay was a most excellent getaway. The staff were very nice, the room was very spacious somewhat drab and the meal was not over priced, and the service was pleasant. The dinner we had there was superb.

                      The public areas are inviting, a nice relaxing atmosphere and a chance to bump into someone famous, the house staff are excellent. For rates one expects a lot better and the bedroom was very cosy and the best thing is the BIG COMFY bed. The garden restaurant is beautiful.

                      Great location, free newspapers and free WiFi throughout the hotel much appreciated, famous for celebrities and style. Terrible service, just terrible, the accommodation were comfortable and the linens were fabulous, one senior waiter was rather pretentious.
