I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel, given that when I booked it, price was my primary concern.
The price was good compared to a lot of the hotels in the area and the room size was adequate.
While in the Napa Valley, we "checked out" some other hotels we passed along the way and prices were much higher.
If you're looking to spend your money on area attractions and not on your hotel, the Chateau has its place.
Great location, clean rooms and very accommodating staff.

Not a bad location off of 29 and this place is very nice.
It was almost humorous that larger guest had to enter in a seperate location.
It was large with 2 queen beds and a roll-away bed.
Junk still under bed from previous guests, shower did not work, sink faucet leaked and spewed water from handle when turned on.
It feels more like an Inn or a Bed and Breakfast and not some impersonal chain.
The room was clean and fairly spacious and the hot tub and pool were nice as well.
It was the most expensive hotel I've ever stayed at ($211) for one double bed and by far the worst ever and I've stayed at some dives.
I didn't eat breakfast here, so can't comment on it.
One final observation the signs leading to the continental breakfast make it very clear that you cannot take a muffin or food back to your room.
Also, a complimentary basic continental breakfast is included.

The continental breakfast was packaged pastries (those found at Seven 11).
The employees are extremely rude, especially the ones behind the front desk.
Napa was wonderful and front desk clerks were friendly and nice.
From the momment we arrived, parking lot was filthy; weeds against the hotel building and office area; dark and low ceiling of the lobby; non-english speaking front desk.
The first thing I noticed when we walked in the lobby to check in was the horrible smell - like very old, dingy carpet.
Our next experience was trying to enter the pool.
They have wireless, free internet and even printed our boarding passes in their office.
Also they have a large sign out front that claims they have FREE High Speed Internet Access.
The staff very friendly and helpful, a CLEAN bathroom, im Preis enthalten ist auch ein einfaches Continental Breakfast.
The rooms are spaciosu and clean and the pool and hot tube are a welcome treat.
Hotel staff was friendly, facilities were clean, and room was adequate.

Generally the place was pretty clean and my room was large.
