The location was great and the staff were lovely. The rooms were authentic and wonderful, with tea and coffee.

Fairly clean and stunningly beautiful place, great breakfast with a wide array of options. Magnificent location in large English garden, easy to get around. Short walk to the autoroute, with lush grounds, and the Castle.

Everything was perfect in this absolutely charming and beautiful hotel. The staff was very-very nice from the moment we arrived. Overall it was exceptionally large and bright with a huge modern bathroom. Location: the property was close to the grounds and Pays de la Loire.

We liked this staying. Had relaxing stay for one night and the weather was wonderful. Its location was lovely and beautiful, in the valley of Loire in France, and in a fairly quiet area. The staff was attentive and helpful providing assistance.

The room was airy and big, with a lovely view over Chateau park. It had a convenient décor and an exceptionally comfortable bed.

The food was outstanding with a wide array of options. The room was well heated and reasonably large, with smoke detectors and lovely views over Chateau park.

The hotel is located on the outskirts of a small rural French village, in a quiet area surrounded by parkland. It's the perfect location for a peaceful and relaxing stay. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently close to many wineries, making it a great choice for wine enthusiasts looking to explore the local vineyards.

Beautiful area with an air of luxury.We felt priviledged visiting a delightful timeless chateau with its air of peace, yet discreet modern facilities. Breakfast was the best we have ever had in France with an international palette catered for.

The creaky doors were very annoying as there were two doors between the bathroom and bedroom. Light sleepers beware! Please oil the hinges. We booked a double bed which was actually two pushed close together and seemed unable to stay that way.

We usually stay at this small hotel and would love to stay here again. The units are incredibly comfortable with a giant bathroom. The location is incredible and beautiful, in the vineyards.

We found the accommodation very comfortable. We had a wonderful meal in the restaurant on the evening. We were the only 2 eating and they still cooked for us - it was lovely - very romantic. Very nice chateau - would recommend it to anyone.

We did not want to leave there, strongly recommend. Overall had delightful stay for one night. The location was great and stunning, right by the stream, in a lovely area. The accommodating staff gave us a nice welcome.

We stayed at this beautiful old Chateau near Samur for a few nights. Our large, comfortable room had an amazing, enormous bathroom. The host was friendly and provided great local recommendations. The restaurant served brilliant food, and they even cooked us lunch. The outside space and pool were lovely, and the owners were very hospitable.

Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

On arriving at this Chateau we weren't sure what to expect - other reviewers described it as 'tired' but in fact it is lovely - perhaps more 'shabby chic'. Our room was enormous, with a lovely shower and very comfy bed: the only criticism being that there were only 3 sockets, already taken up with bedside lamps and the mini bar. Dinner was excellent and the breakfast more than adequate. There is a small heated pool and spacious grounds to walk in. But the icing on the cake was the service, which was first class.

As mentioned above, only three sockets in the room, and now we all have so much electrical paraphernalia which has to be charged!
