Walkable distance to all the major attractions, including the glamorous Palace of Festivals. The hotel's own restaurant served delicious meals. Free Wi-Fi was a plus.
Who needs pets or service animals anyway? Thank goodness they're not allowed here!

Imagine stepping into a charming hotel, enveloped by the soothing scent of night blooming jasmine in a quaint courtyard. The Chanteclair is a hidden treasure, ideally located in the heart of the old town. Exploring the vibrant streets of this enchanting city is a breeze, thanks to its central location. The updated rooms offer a clean and comfortable retreat, allowing you to recharge after a day of adventures. The friendly and attentive staff go above and beyond to ensure your needs are met, making you feel right at home. Indulge in a delicious breakfast, served in the cozy foyer, before starting your day.
I must mention that the building is quite old and could benefit from some renovations.

Lovely Stay in the Heart of the City
Upon arriving at the hotel, I was immediately impressed by its central location. Situated in the heart of the city, it was just a stone's throw away from the bustling market hall and other attractions. The room, although small, had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The highlight was the supercool shower cabin that provided a refreshing experience. While the room could use some paintwork, it didn't hinder my overall enjoyment.

The room was spotless, cozy, and had just the right amount of night buzz. The shower was mind-blowing. I loved that we could bring our own dinner and enjoy it with a bottle of wine outside, where the super-fast wifi worked perfectly. The location was jaw-dropping, right next to an amazing market. The owner's dog, Oscar, was great company at the outdoor tables. The owner himself was incredibly welcoming and even turned on the radiator before we arrived. I also appreciated the offer to sit in the courtyard and have our own food and drinks. We felt right at home and would definitely stay here again. The friendly owner gladly held onto our bags before check-in and the central location made it easy to get around. The breakfast served in the courtyard was simple but satisfying. And how could I forget Oscar, the awe-inspiring hotel dog!

I had a fantastic stay at a charming hotel in the heart of Cannes. The location was perfect for exploring the city, and I was impressed with the ease of communication in English. Despite being an old building, the staff made the best of it and created a cozy atmosphere with attention to detail. The room had a unique combination of old and modern design, which I found very interesting. Although there were a few minor issues, such as worn out carpets on the stairs and the lack of a table in the room, these were outweighed by the friendly staff and the overall value for money. I would definitely consider coming back, especially as a business traveler. I highly recommend this hotel for its location, ambiance, and affordability.

The location is perfect. Very central, near good restaurants, the beach and Palais des Festivals
Everything but the location is awful. Basic, poor condition, worn out, no air con, very poorly maintained, broken fan etc etc

The hotel had a lovely vintage decor that reminded me of my younger days. The common areas were tastefully furnished, making it a pleasant place to relax and socialize. I also appreciated how accessible the hotel was for senior people like myself, with easy navigation through the hallways and elevators.
I would have preferred if the children working there could have been a bit more attentive and helpful towards us seniors during our stay.

The view from the lobby is stunning, offering a beautiful backdrop for your stay. the location is ideal, with a market nearby and a convenience store just down the street. The owner was also accommodating, allowing us to store our luggage before check-in.
There is no elevator in the building, which can be a challenge for those with heavy luggage or mobility issues. the rooms could use some improvement, with uncomfortable beds and limited electrical outlets.
