The hotel has a great location close to a beautiful river and surrounded by nature. The onsen is a nice option to relax and unwind after a long day. The Japanese meals served were tasty and enjoyable. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful with our requests.
The hotel is starting to show its age, with some dated facilities and furniture. The room we stayed in had a musty smell.

In the beautiful Ureshino area, our group stayed at a hotel with a convenient location near the train station. The friendly staff even called a shuttle for us to reach the hotel quickly. We had a Japanese tatami room with a private onsen, allowing us to relax and enjoy the soothing hot springs in complete privacy. The delicious breakfast and dinner included special tea, leaving our skin soft and smooth. The hotel also offered a variety of amenities, such as outdoor baths and the chance to charter a private bath for the family.
Some confusion with the language barrier led to wasted food during dinner.

This onsen hotel in Kyushu exceeded my expectations. The location was easy to access from the JR station, and the information center at the station was helpful. The hotel offered a private onsen in our Japanese-style room, allowing us to enjoy the hot spring anytime with privacy. The included breakfast and dinner were delicious, and my daughter especially loved the tea onsen. The skin-soothing properties of the special tea were noticeable, leaving our skin softer after each soak. The service provided by the staff was excellent, making our stay truly memorable.
One aspect that could be improved is the communication regarding meals for kids. We had asked if a kid's meal could be provided for our child, as he couldn't finish an adult meal and we didn't want to waste food.
