If you want a centrally located hotel with good service at a very reasonable price, give this place a try.
An excellent location, very convenient hotel and a huge money saver.
Its location is ideal and the hotel is centrally located.
I think this is the perfect location, and if you want a hotel with all the amenities you need which is in close proximity to the nightlife then this is the place to stay!
The location is fantastic and whilst neither the hotel nor the rooms are large - this is Reykjavik.
The location is perfect and the CenterHotel Skjaldbreid doesnt get more Central in Reykjavic.
The hotel unpronounceable is on a main street in the centre and easy to get to on the bus which runs from the airport.
The bed was comfortable and the linens clean, but the room had only a small warddrobe for hanging clothes and wire baskets instead of drawers.
Friendly staff, good bed and clean facilities.
Bed was VERY comfortable and the breakfast was great.
The rooms are small, but the breakfast atrium more than makes up that as do the comfy beds.
Bed is clean we did find some crumps on the carpet.
If the breakfast is included in your hotel stay, definitely take advantage of it as Reykjavik food prices are astronomical.
Breakfast is good and free if at 7am you fancy eating pickles - cocktail sauce etc!
It is in the middle of the main walking, shopping, drinking and eating street, and has a great bar attached.
wouldn't even give us free bar vouchers and all day tea/coffee machine available.
Shower were great and easy to find - was ideal for the trips that we went on - were numerous - really liked the idea of the restaurant you could just go.
Helpful hotel staff, good service and free internet terminal in reception.
Central location, overall great place and the reception staff were helpful and friendly.

We had a problem with the Flybus pick up to Keflavik and the front desk staff called the bus station for us to confirm that a driver was being sent.
Good location, nice hotel in the centre of Reykjavik and the service at the reception desk: excellent.
The hotel staff was very attentive, they made sure that all of our tours were correctly booked and even let us check-in early when we arrived.
Look out for the static too, got an electric shock everytime I walked from the carpets to the lift.
The staff is amazing and the bathrooms are clean and serviceable.
The rooms are clean daily by the housekeepers.
Breakfast was good - you dine in a clean conservatory-style room and the staff was very helpful.
Good and clean room, complimentary coffee for guests available all day in breakfast conservatory.
In addition the rooms were clean and breakfast was a cold Scandanavian breakfast was fine.
