The hotel is in a fantastic location in the middle of Karon Beach (which, incidentally, is a beautiful beach - much nicer than Patong and equally as nice as Kata).

The location made it for us, not in the over busy Patong but close enough to go in whenever we wanted, Karon had enough to keep us occupied in the evening.

We saw some others when picking people up for tours and ours was in a location which was by far the best.

The metered taxi set rate from the airport to the hotel in a nice car is 450 baht.

Karon was much quieter than Patong- I would recommend staying there and taking a taxi or Tuk Tuk into Patong.

The rooms were a good size, clean and comfortable with all of the facilities that you would expect from this class of hotel (Tea and Coffee making, Mini-Bar, Safe etc) The fixtures and fittings were good quality and the bed was comfortable.

The room we where given was of a high quality, A/C as std, spacious, tv, balcony overlooking the pool, lillies on the bed upon arrival.

The bed in the room was quite hard, though, at least for my taste.

Furthermore the bed was comfortable and breakfast was fantastic.

We had a superior room which was very spacious and clean, amazing bathroom.

Over the road is a wonderful Irish Bar called o'Tools, does brilliant food all English, fantastic breakfasts.

The main restaurant is nice with karoke at night, the food is really good, much better than some of the restaurants just outside the hotel - saw a cockroach in one!

The restaurant could maybe do with ensuring the food is covered at breakfast, as every day we saw flies on the breakfast cereal and some other food, and there were small birds walking on the unsliced loaves of bread that were uncovered!

The restaurant on the hotel was rubbish, being about 5 times as expensive as the wonderful local cuisine and not having anything worth eating.

There are loads of restaurants just outside the hotel- we had drinks in the Irish pub and dinner twice at Two Chefs- very nice restaurant with good steaks and thai prawn curry.

Local hotel staff were fine, the service was good and the rooms were great has a choice of 2 pools on our doorstep.

The money we paid was too much for we got, the lobby was beautiful - the receptionist brought us a lovely Guava drink and the staff were so friendly.

The service throughout the hotel was excellent- the people very friendly, the staff were extremely good and rooms were cleaned every day.

The service staff is always smiling and willing to help.

The hotel is in a fantastic location in the middle of Karon Beach and the new spa is being refurbished so the spa is temporarily in a room near the lagoon pool.

In the end, they couldnt and they bumped us up to a nicer room by the pool, which they should of done in the first place and as compensation gave us a free massage at their spa.

The shuttle bus to Patong from the lobby costs 80 baht, which is much cheaper than a tuk tuk or taxi.

Rooms quite nice, does brilliant food all English and three very clean pools.

The staff were always polite, the rooms were kept clean and breakfast was good variety.

They never clean the bathtub, fantastic breakfasts and good Asian selection.

Room was clean, the food there was quite good and the choice in Patong was far better.

The room was clean, spacious & the opportunity to use our own jacuzzi was a bonus.
