  The rooms were spacious and clean, but not outstanding. Of course, when you do the "disney" thing, it is nice to have a quiet spot with a good bed to rest up for the next day. The pool was quiet and we enjoyed unwinding in the evening.

  It needs some attention, and afterr check in, we never heard from any staff or saw anybody that worked there.

  Do not be fooled by the lobby because the units looks totally different. We were told that there was a 2 jacuzzi tubs in the unit. The carpet was dirty and the filter for the central air unit has not been changed in over 1 year per the service guy who came to change the filter. The place is dirty the floor were filthy and the dining chairs were dirty, the furnitures hasn't been dust.

  If you booked this as a hotel room or studio, what you will get is a lock off. If you trade or exchange into a 1 or 2 bed room with NO kitchen, what you will get is a lock off. The complex is made up of four sections, Celebrity Resorts, Celebrity Resorts II, Celebrity Resorts Oaks (300&400 room numbers, mostly 2 bed lock off), and Celebrity Resorts SPAs (500&600 room numbers, mostly 3 bed lockoff). Odd first digit rooms seem to be ground level while the even seem to be one flight up.

  Treat this as general information, and NOT 100% accurate, I was not there to take notes. There is no room service and there is no maid service. You will not walk into a 10 story building with elevators. Expecting these services will end up with you walking away unhappy.

  I requested extra towels that were not even delivered until the night before departing. The only person that was remotely nice was Arlene at the front desk.

  I reviewed the resort online and the pictures of the pool and ammenities are not even at the same property. Upon arrival it took aver 30 minutes to locate us our room which we reserved at least 30 days in advance. My issue was finally resolved by a front desk agent after 2 days. After check out i realized that i forgot my hair dryer, curling iron, and straightening iron. The next day I called again and spoke to the housekeeping supervisor who told me that it was not in the the unit. I asked to speak with the general manager, he assured me that his staff would have turned it in. I know that i left them in the bathroom of the unit. The manager offered us nothing for troubles with our stay.

  The towels and sheets however were clean, so I guess we were lucky in that aspect.

  This visit cost us an emergency room visit due to my child being asthmatic. We arrived at the room located across the street from the check in center and noticed a definite difference from the property we had just left. The two room suite was a lock off of an old condo divided by locks on the secondary bedroom and secondary bathroom. The cabinets all needed cleaning and the furniture was dated, smelly, and soiled.

  This was the first time we stayed at a location that was rated "3 stars". We arrived early, but they made us feel welcome and got our room ready right away. My husband and I stayed in unit 642-B, a 900 sq ft one-bedroom villa. It was on secluded corner, very quiet, and I made only one request (for more coffee), and we enjoyed ourselves very much. The only complaint that I have is that they charge for wireless - which made no difference to us since we have a wireless card, but it would be nice if that were complimentary.

  We never had any issues with mold, smoke, bugs, air conditioning, hot water, etc.

  The room was smelly, so we bought air freshners and carpet freshner. They only supplied us with two rolls of toilet paper for seven days, so we bought toilet paper. She had to purchase an air mattress, mattress pad, and bedding. They need to replace the sofas, have 24-hour maintenance, and inspect the rooms for cleanliness before guests check-in.

  The four-lane highway to cross to the pool? My question is: If you stayed at any of the Celebrities, why not use the pool there? If you stayed at a Marriott and the pool(s) were full/ would you cross the street to the hotel next door? Location: This is one of the BEST locations to stay in Orlando. The bathtub in the second bedroom was way too hgih to get into - a hazard actually.

  We called the front desk and they were great, they changed our unit to a 3rd floor condo on the so called new side of the resort.

  There was mold growing on the jacuzzi tub which was very worn on the inside.

  We did have a great view right behind the pool and a small pond with bridge. The renovated areas included new drapes, sofa, chairs, dining table, granite countertops in kitchen and baths, fairly new comforters etc. The master bedroom had a lovely view of the water/bridge. I would not recommend it or stay here again, unless you are under tight budget constraints and are not looking for comfort, quality or great service.

  We had a 3 bedroom unit which is basically a 2 bedroom joined by a lockout door wih a one bedroom suite located on the main property. But, the bathroom tubs were still old and the tile was broken and had dirty grout. There is a larger pool inconveniently located across a very busy street. It was still dated with the mirror surround and built-ins behind the bed.
