  The Cebu Hilton Hotel / Resort & Spa has the most phenomenal staff I have ever had the pleasure of staying with. All staff are well dressed in neat and appropriately styled uniforms and take pride in their personal appearance and performance (none of the attitude and overweight problems I experience or see here in US; I am US). At same time they are concerned with your experience, they are quite personable and can provide a great deal of information on desirable Island sites and places to go both in terms of "touristy" and off beaten path, without having to tip $$ for everything. The weight room / workout room is very sizable, clean, and well equipped. The beach front is pretty small, but very well kept and when seas are calm, water is crystal clear. Meals change theme every night, and breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all very tasty and moderately to expected prices for a resort of this target group. Security staff appear real and well trained, and after 10 pm, it is quiet for good sleeping. It is suggested to stock up on bottled water, fruits, and some snacks before checking in as its well away from the City. If you are a diver or snorkel, visit the dive shop right next door and they will set you up good. Relative to the Island and Filipino people, they are all nice in general and most speak English, but some are looking to sell you something or a service (taxi, rickshaw, pictures, etc), and minor heckling may occur in some of the very crowded areas.

  The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. The spa was very nice. The two shows that we saw on the ethnic night and the fire show - were the highlight of our stay at the hilton. The workout room is clean and new. IT is only 10 minutes from the airport.

  THe hotel was very run down and very small. The room was old, the aircon didnt work very well, the game room was dark and dingy, there are barely any activities unless you research it and create your own. The pool is very small and the bathrooms by the pool were smelly. The salon was terrible, w/ only one attendent and a few choices of nail colors and an uncomfotable couch to sit on while you get your nails done. They have some activities, but I had to find the list on my own and then the instructors were not there to run the clinics, ie .. the taste of snorkle and the scuba on the beach.
