The pool was clean and the location was beautifully situated on Mission Bay.

The entire staff I delt with during our stay was superior, expertly taking care of all that was asked, I will stay again, just as soon as I can as the location is very close to all attractions and major highways.

All I can say is that the location is great-close to the beach.

Then I booked the airport shuttle that the hotel recommended, was about $12.

Sure, you can go to the Hilton Gas Lamp and have greater amenitites, but you are not walking to the beach (maybe to the airport!

The actual room was exactly what you would expect from a hotel room, A bed, closet, bathroom and tv.

The room had basic amenities—small bathroom with tub/shower (good water pressure), sink, and toilet.

We had 3 adults booked into a regular room where we would have needed a roll-away bed, and we were upgraded to a higher floor in the tower with a bay and ocean view and a bigger "suite" room with a sofa bed.

The "living room" had the ocean view but the bedroom had a king bed with 1 foot of clearance on the left of the bed and 2 foot of clearance on the right side (sort of like sleeping in a box).

We stayed in the tower and had a bedroom with a king sized bed and a living room with a king size sofa bed and a full kitchen.

The bartenders in the tiny bar were awesome, the food was good we ate at the restaurant twice and the pool was warm.

I also noticed another special where it included FREE breakfasts and so I told her we all three had to eat and so was offered 12 FREE breakfast coupons in the dining room which we all enjoyed during our stay.

Ate breakfast and lunch outside at the Atole Restaurant.

We didn’t eat at the restaurant—the prices seemed a bit high to us, but the Moray Bar’s “lighter fare” menu tempted us to eat there two nights.

Ate breakfast at Lhanina Beach House -- mostly a surfer bar but great omlettes and coffee.

The parking fee was high, lobby were nice and any staff we encountered were all friendly.

If they update the rooms and improve the car parking facilities, it will be even better.

High speed wireless internet worked like a charm.

There is no high speed internet access which was a major disappointment.

The first room was fine (room 100 - literally next to reception) - clean, tidy and a nice little veranda with two seats and a table, and on the ground floor.

Yes, there were some cracks in the bathroom counter, but everything was clean and comfortable.
