The hotel did not give us any compensation to the money that got stolen as they claim we didn't put it in their safe (which we had to pay for)!
city, very nice hotel in downtown Madrid that offered us a very relaxing stay and the price was great.
I would probably return to this hotel if the price was right because it is central, however,I would be concerned by the recent report of the robberies from the rooms.
We rate the hotel more as a three star but it is well worth the money because of it's very convenient location.
Good central location close to Santa Anna Square and place to rest after a long day on our feet enjoying the city.
Perfect location for sight seeing - close walk to major sites and the hotel is very clean.
Madrid's metro is very cheap, the hotel is in a perfect location.
If you are travelling by underground from the airport, hold onto to you valuables very tightly.
5 min walk to the subway (blue line) and can easily walk to many tourist attractions.
Although we'd booked on the basis of a double with an extra bed, there was a separate small room with a single bed.

But the big bonus was that the room was actually TWO rooms.

We only ate in hotel at breakfast of which there was a variety of dishes catering for several different nationalities amongst them a party from Chicago.

Service is great the front desk staff is very nice, breakfast was very good the dining room is a bit cramped.
The hotel was fine but the receptionist staff were not the most friendly.
Atmosphere are all fantastic and the lobby is well designed.

Free wireless internet, plaza Santa Ana has some great tapas bars.
The hotel itself was clean and tidy, friendly and the rooms for our first two nights were huge.
The room was clean and very comfortable, however we did ask for a non-smoking room and unfortunately we opened the door to the stale smell of cigarette ash and there were ash trays around the room (but I guess this is Europe).
