These lovely large rooms embody many of the original details of this private residence built in 1905. They include an antique king size bed, original or replica period furniture, hard wood floors with Persian rugs and 10 to 12 foot ceilings. The rooms have a decorative fireplace with a beautiful quarter sawn beech wood mantle and surround. The rooms also include modern touches such as televisions and air conditioning all subtly hidden so as not to distract from the ambiance of authenticity. All rooms have a comfortable place to sit perfect to while away the afternoon reading a good book. The rooms have all been decorated from a warm color palette with very rich and luxurious fabrics throughout the guest room.
