Nicely decorated hotel with delicious breakfasts and brand-new rooms, that's what we thoroughly enjoyed. The location was absolutely perfect, and we could reach a bronze statue by walking. The wine bar was delightful.

Amazing setting, close enough to the centre of New York City, StPatrick's Cathedral and the Broadway theaters.

Clean, old-fashioned hotel, I thoroughly enjoyed reasonably large rooms and incredibly kind staff. The breakfast was delicious with fruit juice and wine, for instance and the restaurant food was great. Also, location was great, at a short distance from a 70th-floor open-air observation deck. And the area was charming, near to Times Square, the theatres and tourist bus stops, the adjacent restaurant, Tony's di Napoli, and the Casablanca after a couple of years.

The staff was very friendly, provided an easy check-in and a late check-out. Booked a room on the lower floors. The breakfast at the place was complimentary and delicious with wine and cheese.

Premium queen room was reasonably large and compact with a pullout couch. We were in a marvellous location just off Times Square so perfect for most tourist attractions such as Broadway shows, Empire State Building and Central Park, times square / Manhattan and New York in December.

The rooms are beautifully decorated and brand-new and the continental breakfast offered has a wide array of dishes. They have a fireplace, a lounge, and a patio. It has incredible and fantastic location in New York City.

The room was well-appointed with private bathroom. We didn't have time, nonetheless the continental breakfast looked great.

Old-fashioned hotel, it offers complimentary breakfast and large rooms. It has both absolutely kind and superfriendly staff. The location is amazing, right in the heart of things.

The continental breakfast was free of charge for all tastes, thoroughly enjoyed it. The venue was in a very central location close enough to the Broadway theaters, Empire State Building, and the normal tourist attractions. Actually everything was good, my next choice again in New York.

The property is clean with a lovely design, and the continental breakfast is free of charge. The location is very central, adjacent to quiet inside, major subway lines, and Bryant Park, Radio City Music Hall. There is a wide array of restaurants to eat, like Tony's di Napoli that is only 5 minutes' walk away.

We stayed in the premium queen room equipped with comfy beds and all amenities.

The ambience of the second-floor lounge, free evening wine and cheese, outstanding performances, convenient step-through to the restaurant, comfortable room, great bed.

Great location just off Times Square. Lovely helpful staff. Spacious and comfy room, with little luxuries like bathrobes, slippers and toiletries. Complimentary coffee, pastries, cheese & wine in the piano bar. Free internet access was useful for printing off our boarding passes to come home! Couldn't decide between Casblanca & Waldorf Astoria, but definitely feel we made the right choice!

Only one negative and then not a problem - the shower could have been better!

You are made to feel welcome and nothing seems to be too much trouble for the staff. The hotel interior is beautifully decorated. Free breakfast, free wine and chees in evenings and free beverages and cookis 24 hours a day, perfect.

The taxes charged on our bill where much more than advertised on Booked.net plus there where 3 different taxes, why as we have not had these with other nyc hotels, it turned the stay into quite expensive as opposed to value for money.
