I'm the type of traveler that would rather spend money on fun stuff to do on vacation instead of hotels, but this was even too much for us.
The location is perfect for doing business on the monterey peninsula, this place is fine.
Many beautiful coastal parks, location good and monterey is a great place to spend your time outdoors.
Only good thing was that it was only 10 minutes from downtown Monterey, however this "good location point" was cancelled out by the strip club across the street.
The gentleman at the reception changed us from queen bed to king bed for no extra cost.
Good stuff - cheap and a huuuuuge comfy bed.
The mattress and boxspring sat on the floor (no bed frame).
I did share with the "manager" that the room was very musty (I noticed that several of the rooms had their doors "ajar" to get some fresh air).
The shower was nice and hot, as was the pressure, despite an equal amount of water coming out of the spout for a bath.
We also ordered a great Italian pizza from the on-site restaurant.
The front desk staff was nice and the manager was very helpfull.
The motel is convenient, CLEAN, and has a friendly front desk staff that pays attention to your needs.
Fine for the price and the staff were friendly.
I suspect it will not be a problem if the website people have any customer service skills.
When I called, the manager refused to cancel my reservation because "He would lose his commission that he had paid".
Beautiful flowers all around parking area, stay clear and great rates.
And some of the late night clientel--at least during our stay were a little shady and kept us up all night roaming around the parking lot talking as loud as possible.
Great value for money and spotless clean bathroom.
The rooms are clean and comfortable if your just looking for a place to stay.
