Lovely peaceful location, near to Donana Park Reserve and the hotel complex is beautiful.
They were OK about it and were fairly helpful in getting us a cab.
This had two bedrooms, 2 baths, sitting room, basic kitchen/dining room.
The room was dark, small and a bit depressing, with a sad, dated bathroom (hot water intermittent) and an ill-fitting mosquito net (good luck getting it to tuck in).
Room - bungalow/cottage style, spacious, well-furnished, with mini-bar and a mosquito net, plus insect repellent spray (very necessary at night) and swallows nesting at head-height by the door.
Friendly staff, really lovely rooms and well informed about local amenities.
We recently stayed 3 nights at this pretty and peaceful place, with its rustic spacious rooms decked out in traditional Andalucian farmhouse style, surrounded by orange and lemon trees.
Those facilities, beyond the slightly unkempt pool, consist of a bar, restaurant, breakfast room and salon.
We only ate once in their restaurant and found the pricey food to be of poor quality ( e.
Four star finca with restaurant and bar, stables, and extensive citrus groves.
Restaurant - under-cooked over-priced limited selection nouveau cuisine type fodder best avoided.
There's always one English speaker on site in the form of the duty manager but it's certainly worth making an effort in Spanish with the bar and restaurant staff.
Staff - reception staff were polite and spoke English.
It is behind an old Arab wooden door with a sign marked "Zona Privado" so we automatically presumed this meant private area, but it doesn't as we checked at reception.
If you like the countryside then this is a really tranquil place, however the food and service sadly lets this place down and it doesn't offer value for money in terms of the price you pay and the service received.
The staff was very helpful, had some excellent meals.
A nice Moorish swimming pool in an extremely quiet garden.
Style - a sprawling, spacious site done in aesthetically appealing rustic style with little courtyards and gardens, and a Moorish swimming pool in a larger garden behind a door marked 'Zona Privado'.
Best bits - the style of the finca and size of the room, the 'Zona Privado' garden and pool, breakfast, and the proximity to El Rocio.
