Casa Mexicana Cozumel Hotel

It is located in a perfect location for walking around the town and getting to shops and restaurants.

Another added value is the hotel's central location to San Miguel's square located six blocks to the right as you exit the escalator.

The hotel is spotless, the staff is very friendly, and the location (being very close to the city center) is hard to beat.

They helped direct us to Mexican Immigration and the US Consular Agent to get some paperwork filled out to help us get through airport security when it was time to return home.

Some people want to check into an all inclusive "resort" and not leave the resort again until heading back to the airport.

The room was large, with AC, nice décor, and very clean with spacious bathroom which had a full-size bathtub with shower, marble vanity, plush towels and hairdryer.

The bathroom is minimally sized with some toiletries, good water pressure in the combo bath/tub, and clean, soft, large white towels and washcloths.

Everyday when the room is made up a new little bath towel animal is on the beds.

Speaking of the room, the bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever had in a hotel.

Billie told us that all the beds were replaced after Wilma, we have never slept on a bed in Cozumel that was so comfortable!

The El Museo (Museum Restaurant) is a nice place to eat breakfast and lunch; we ate lunch there our last day as we were not diving.

My next choice might be a place like Playa Azul Hotel that offers beach, pool, bar, Non-AI "breakfast" restaurant and parking for my itty-bitty rental car.

Does ten days of "free breakfast for two" make up for missing a beach, bar and pool?

The breakfast buffet was unbelievable--it was so good we never ate lunch the whole trip.

The room was on the courtyard - the courtyard is just where you eat breakfast (which was included), problem is breakfast starts early and all you hear from your room is clanking of dishes and people talking starting at around 6am - not good!

All of the staff, from the front desk to the concierge to the waiter and even the maids and the young boys constantly mopping the tile floors, were extremely friendly and approachable, and most were very fluent in English.

The room was immaculate, the staff warm and friendly and the service superb.

The hotel is beautiful, staff here is friendly and helpful, the room service for sandwiches is quick and excellent.

The pool is part of the lobby and is very small like a wading pool.

There is one very small pool in the lobby, nice for a quick dip but pretty lame if you're coming here for an all out vacation.

The hotel is modern, prices are high and the view from the pool/lobby/bar is superb.

They have free high speed internet with 4 modern computers available downstairs.

The staff was more than accomadating, the room clean and fresh every day.

Outstanding boutique type hotel with lovely, clean design, immaculate, and comfortable rooms.

The room was perfectly spotless (as was the whole hotel).

The rooms and hotel were sparkling clean at all times.

At the resort the food was horrible the rooms were horrible the service was horrible the besch was dirty, it was not kept clean, the rooms were not ready to be checked in by 4:00!
