Casa Madrona Hotel & Spa Sausalito

Great location, perfect hotel and the staff was also very nice.

If you are looking for a truly original hotel, want to feel like you are in an old castle type hotel, but want new amenities and a great location, this is for you.

Nice comfortable hotel in great location/access to Sausalito Village.

This is a secluded location overlooking the bay -- a great place to propose.

Hotel driver met us at the airport brought us to hotel.

For 200+ a night the room is "ghetto" - its poorly designed Asian theme room with a futon for a bed (literally - looks like someones studio apartment) the TV is on top of a cheap night stand and the wall is mirrored.

Huge room, nice bed and massive bathroom with a separate shower and 2 person tub.

Also, all the rooms are very different- another room we saw was decorated in "glamour hollywood" style- it had a gorgeous view with raised bed, along with flat screen plasma TV and old hollywood pictures on the walls.

We had been promised a 2-bedroom cottage with 2 queen size beds and walked into a very musty smelling room (so bad it woke me up) with one queen bed and 2 singles.

Beautiful view, comfortable bed, great big bathroom with huge tub.

Walking distance to many restaurants, shops, etc.

We walked to dinner at Horizons( with a corner window table overlooking the bay) We took a great walk in the morning around town and ate at a small restaurant recommended by doorman Tony.

Don't eat at their restaurant or go to their spa.

I asked her to coordinate with the hotel spa and restaurant (Poggio) and she went above and beyond!

The hotel has little balconies all over, and an old restaurant area is accessible to sit and stare at the bay.

An exceptional front desk staff and one of the maids standing near us must have overheard.

Views were better than I could have expected, the staff at the hotel was so nice and service was efficient and attentive.

Unfortunately we would not have had to deal with the front desk staff had the hotel itself not been such a disappointment.

The front desk staff is the only reason we stayed.

She showed up at the spa lobby after the massage and took us on a (fake) tour of the historic hotel so we could end up at the Victorian porch at the very top with a champaign bottle.

You go into this tiny lobby to register, then get into a tiny elevator.

My wife and I stayed at The Casa Madrona Hotel and Spa during our Honeymoon in May.

The room was recently remodeled and very clean and spacious.

Our room was spotless and the staff was exceptional upon check-in.

Our room was spotless(Contemporary Harbor View).

Rooms are nice and clean with a touch of class.

Thank god the room was clean and the service was very friendly.
