Casa Delfino

Casa Delfino is in an excellent location, close to the harbor, interesting sights, shopping, and great restaurants.

Excellent location just off the old harbor- close to everything and the most remarkable aspect of this hotel is the ambiance.

The location is great, portes nearby is much better in my opinion and the family owns this hotel shows genuine interest in their guests are doing.

The hotel also arranged airport transfers for us.

Incidentally, we would recommend going on the private bus to the Samaria Gorge because it seems like one would otherwise be leaving too much to chance for the return trip.

Both were one bedroom suites, with the living room and bathroom on the main level, and the bed upstairs in the loft.

The kids' (teenagers) twin bed room plus their bathroom were a few steps down on a lower level which had doors that could be opened onto the cobblestone pathway along the hotel.

The Penthouse suite was on two levels with two large bathrooms, living room, bedroom and rooftop balcony overlooking the harbor.

Our room featured two floors, with a large bed, two sofa-beds and its own small courtyard.

Also, the suite had the bed upstairs and the bathroom and livingroom downstairs.

The hotel is also close to the waterfront and all the restaurants and shops and cafes.

There are lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance.

The location is fantastic - tons of shops, restaurants and the harbour to explore within steps of the hotel.

We ate at Tamam both nights because the food was so incredibly good--particularly the stuffed vine leaves (dolmas) and eggplant dishes.

Home cooked breakfasts and well worth the price.

Great location in the old city of Chania, elegant place and the service/staff was always good and helpful.

There is parking about 2 city blocks away next to the port and old wall.

We found a little parking area just north-west of this section of town, only a couple blocks away.

No elevators but you won't be carrying your luggage.

Staff was very helpful and the rooms were very clean.

In addition the room was big and clean, the staff were very attentive & made every effort to recommend restaurants & things to see & do.

Rooms are spotless and the breakfast is nice.

The washrooms were exceptionally clean, quite large (one had a shower and the other a jacuzzi tub), modern and well stocked with bathrobes, slippers excellent toiletries and personal packaged sponges.
