Cartier Place Suite Hotel Ottawa - 渥太華

The location in downtown Ottawa is great for tourists and the hotel itself is located in a very convenient part of town.

The location is great, the hotel is located in a super spot for any traveller and the hot tub the latter is very hot.

Positives: location is great and the hotel is superbly located in a quiet side street off Elgin.

Just be aware that parking in the underground car park is extra but pretty vital as on street parking is restricted to 2 hours.

The parking is underground and costs about $14 a day.

Our family of two adults and three young children had a two bedroom suite, with full kitchen, bathroom and living room.

The room was very clean with lots of room - a whole kitchen area (oven, microwave, fridge, cutlery), living room (sofa, big TV), bedroom, bathroom and I think a dining room coming off from the living room though I can't remember.

Clean and excellently located suite hotel, the staff very helpful and friendly, a fully stocked one bedroom apartment at a very reasonable price.

Luckily, I found Cartier Place through Booked.net, and I was offered an excellent rate of around $100 for a room with a Queen size bed.

The two bedroom apartments are setup perfectly for middle age children- 4 to teens - with the parent bedroom separated nicely from the kids by the living room and kitchen.

I would definitely suggest bypassing the hotel restaurant as both times we tried it (both times for breakfast), the service was sloppy and the food sub-par).

The kitchen was so well equipped that we didn't have to rush out to restaurants for meals and very helpful for preparing our baby's food.

My wife ordered up room service on the night she was alone, and she said that the food from the Italian restaurant on the main floor was excellent.

The hotel itself is located in a very convenient part of town with quick access to restaurants and shops on Elgin St.

There is also a nice variety of shops and restaurants right by the hotel.

Asked for directions from a website but was told the front desk could not access the site but to use the paid internet service.

The front desk appears to be staffed by part timers or students who don't really have a clue about customer service.

Like other posters I found the service at the front desk to be non existent.

I do not have children, but from i see each time i stay for a night or two, kids seem to have a ball in the pool and jacuzzi!

The sauna was never hot but the jacuzzi was good.

The hotel has large rooms, great service, and we really enjoyed the pool and fitness areas.

First of all there should not be a cost for wireless in this day and age as when I went down the street to the Bridgehead cafe - great place to get a latte - it was offered free there and I could stay as long as I wanted.

The place was extremely clean, the fridge in our room was not working to its par, maintenance responded to our request right away.

The staff was very friendly and the room was very clean.

Staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean.

Also the clean room had a small balcony to the backyard.

The room was clean, bright and had everything we needed.
