  Views were lovely, bus service of denis was impressive and friendly, from the town for 3euro each way made life alot easier. The hotel was very nice and the staff were very helpful. Room was great, pillows were very comfortable and the breakfast buffet was the only good thing about the food.

  We stayed for 3 nights and on only one morning was he somewhat happy with his breakfast.

  He was left waiting 20 mins for bread on one occasion as there was none available and was told by the waiter "we have no gluten free bread unless you brought your own". Of course, we brought this to the attention of the catering manager and to the reception staff when checking out and they did offer a discount on the total bill, which was to be expected. The whole experience was disappointing and I have to say it did spoil our last day there particularly when it was clarified upon booking and check-in that one party is a Coeliac, to which the reply was "no problem, we cater for Coeliacs, just mention it upon check in and in the restaurant". You would expect to get the service you pay for, but unfortunately for us this was not the case this time round.

  Lovely views, kinsale is such a nice town and modern feel of the hotel. The staff is excellent and the bedroom is very large contemporary. The food is good enough and the spa is beautiful.

  Great views and outside Kinsale in beautiful countryside. Very modern comfortable hotel, probally offers very good rates and comfy seats in the lobby. Staff were very friendly helpful, receptionist was fine and the check-in was fast.

  The cost of room service was very high and we gave up trying to order drinks in the end. We also were not allowed to use the pool after check out was disappointing.

  The views are amazing and kinsale is a nice little town. Great place to read the paper, the staff are all very professional and pleasant, good value for business or for famalies as rooms are quite big. Breakfast: lovely range of breakfast.

  Nice the leisure centre was excellent and got a good hotel. Staff were extremly friendly, the bedroom was so comfortable and the restaurant was quite pleasant. Dinner was very tasty and spa were adequate.

  Nice countryside location and lovely quiet hotel. Good staff, pleasant manager on the third night and very comfortableand spacious room. Great music in Dalton's Bar in Kinsale on Wednesday nights and fab big bath sheets.

  Colourful little town and the evening meal was poor.

  The veranda had a lovely view, the setting surrounded by mature tree's was also great and the staff were welcoming friendly brilliantly helpful. Our room was nice, service in the restaurant was excellent and the menu was interesting. Leisure facilities were very tidy.

  Nice view, beautiful setting and free wifi in reception. In addition comfortable rooms and cosy bar. Restaurant staff very professional and dinner was good. The girls in the spa were excellent.

  The location of the Carlton is magnificent - panoramic views of the bay all around and kinsale is amazing. All the staff are very friendly and the rooms are very nice.
