When booking, we were surprised at the prices for hotels in this resort, when compared with the quality on offer (i.
The location can't be beat - right next to the train station (we had no desire to be right in the middle of the action on the "strip").
Convenient location close to the station, the staff is great and breakfast is also good.
Nice quiet location and the hotel is convenient to the train station.
Fairly close to the railway station which if you're going to use it as a base to explore the Jungfraujoch, as we did, is quite convenient.
The hotel was close to the station and a short walk to main shopping street but as Interlaken is so small, everything is a short walk.

The room was very large with only a bed and wash basin, with a seperate toilet and shower.
Stayed in a luxury double room with spa bath which was nice but would have preferred bathroom behind wall rather than be part of the whole room.

Staff were terrific, restaurant was fine, though smoking in restaurants not really acceptable without proper exhaust.
Furthermore room was clean and bright, the fact that they were kind enough to pack us a breakfast/lunch because we had to leave so early that we missed breakfast was so nice.
We settled for Carlton Europe, as the website showed nice photos, and the location was good (it is on the main strip of hotels, bars, shops and restaurants, and is also near to Interlaken Ost Railway Station).
Staff at breakfast very courteous and prompt.

Location was very near to Interlaken Ost Rail station and all the Reception staff were friendly and helpful.
Location is just awesome, very well located near the Ost Railway Station for mountain access and front desk staff good and helpful.
The reception staff was friendly and they are upgrading the front entrance which was a slight inconvenience.
The only bonus was free parking, but there was cheap parking at the rail station.
Near to interlaken ost, good service and very clean room.
