Carlsbad Inn Beach Resort - 卡尔斯巴德

The location is great, centrally located to all southern California attractions!

The beach is great, the restaurants nearby are very nice and the Carlsbad Inn is in the best location in quaint Carlsbad Village.

The hotel had a good location, central and close to the beach.

There is also an underground, secure parking garage.

Transportation: 3 miles away from the train station (about 10$ cab ride- so convenient!

The rooms are a bit outdated, with some minor problems (no working fan in the bathroom, and a noisy ceiling fan over the bed).

The "room" was actually a time share suite equiped with kitchen (all utensils, plates, machines included), one bedroom, living room with vcr, dvd player.

We got this room through our RCI timeshare so we actually had a 1 bedroom suite, with a separate bedroom and fully stocked kitchen.

My favorite part of the room was the bed.

I said it wouldn't work for us, so they upgraded us (for free) to a 1 bedroom condo with a full kitchen, balcony & hide-away queen bed for the kids.

Mexican restaurant and breakfast/lunch cafe right next door.

Town of Carlsbad full of GREAT restaurants with atmopshere, 2 on site with Mexican for lunch/dinner and Daily News for Breakfast/Lunch.

Nearby stores/restaurants: The food at the Mexican restaurant right next door was great.

Great restaurant across the road Fresco Trattoria Bar and the Carlsbad Inn's location isn't bad -- is not quite on the beach.

There is a restaurant that shares the parking lot that serves a really great breakfast and a nice brunch.

Hotel staff are consistently friendly and helpful, the front desk said they didn't have any, cleaning service doesn't make the beds or clean much.

The service was excellent and the concierge was helpful and friendly.

Separate "Adult Spa" and "Children's Pool/Spa" - though teenagers did use the adult side and it was packed to capacity on Friday night!

Activities in hotel: They have a small fitness room, a game room with arcade games and a pool table, bicycles for checkout and other fun stuff like free movie night in the main room.

Misc: The elevators worked very well and there is ample parking in the underground garage.

Friendly front desk and the rooms are clean.

Our room on the 3rd floor in the Elm wing was very clean and the Mexican restaurant next door was fabulous.
