  I liked the location and excellent Value. The price was reasonable, the staff were friendly and the room was clean and the amenities were good. Fridge and microwave worked great, breakfast was enjoyable, the pool was only cleaned on the weekend, not during the week.

  Sheets were stained, the towels were dingy and old and the manager was not available 10 pm that night.

  The location was perfect and the hotel was better than I expected. The rate was even cheaper and the staff were extremely helpful and nice. The beds were clean & and the refrigerator was cold and microwave worked well.

  The interior walls were an awful shade of green, the coffee pot was literally rusted to the coffee pot.

  Great location to lackland afb, my advice, stay clear of the carefree inn and price was very reasonable as well. The staff were very helpful and employees were vary friendly. The rooms were just plain shabby, the continental breakfast was excellent and fresh, the pool was surprisingly nice and clean too.

  Great location to lackland afb and very good value for the money. Way more friendly staff and the manager is pleasant. The hot water would vanish during a shower, the free breakfast is nice in the AM, lots of Danish and muffins every day at 6am.

  Lamps are old, as an American, I am ashamed that this motel is located right outside of a U.

  Proximity to my destination was the best thing about carefree, the price made affordable for me to stay extra days visiting my child at Lackland AFB and the staff were super nice and helpful. The room was comfortable and the food was great. The pool was clean.

  Location was perfect, i am a picky girl and this hotel was fine, the staff were pleasent and helpful. The hot water worked in the early am and was intermittent at best in the early evening and breakfast was just ok. Pool was nice.

  Great location right next to Lackland Air Force Base and the only thing nice about the place is the colors. The staff is very helpful.

  The location was the best part of all and the breakfast exceeded my expectation for the price I paid for the stay. Very clean and service was great from start to finish, the staff were awesome and worked to make sure we had our three rooms next to each other.

  Very convenient location, aside from that, I liked nothing about the hotel and not bad worth the money. The staff on hand was very helpful and courteous, the room was attractive and kept in spotless condition every day by the maids. Pool was clean.
