The staff were very friendly. The location is excellent, only minutes away from the blue mosque. The rooms are of good size, but they are not apartments. It's more like a bedsit/studio flat. It's just one big room. There are plenty of space to sleep, there was 1 double bed and 2 sofa beds. For the price, the hotel is very nice.

We arrived early in the morning (5 am) and there was no conciege desk. We tried to contact the manager for hours but failed. We just waited outside until the hotel opened. It's not a proper hotel with front desk and all, it's just a local who converted his place to a hotel. Warning note: If you are arriving early, make sure you call the manager and let him know. Manager is not good with emails.

It is an apartment, so we had enough space for lagguages, relaxing and even a fridge and a small kitchenette. The location is great, once we quickly familiarized ourselves with the area, everything was so close: the Blue Mosque was only a nice stroll away, and the major tramline even closer.We liked the originality of the street there. The apartment was cosy and with open windows, fresh air was coming from the nearby sea. Owner also very helpful. It proved handy to store his phone-number before and after arrival.

As an apartment, this was perfect (and perfectly located) for its price, so nothing really here.

I like this hotel very much. Firstly, it has perfect location - 20 minutes by taxi from airport Ataturk, authentic place (district) with different cafes, small family restaurants and shops, 10-15 minutes by walking to old centre (The Blue mosque, Sultanahmet) - on the one hand, the stone coast of the Mramor sea and wonderful views - on the other hand. Of course, spacious apartments with kitchen, refrigerator and iron in cupboard - it's very convenient, also air-conditioner is very important thing in hot time. What else? The manager of this hotel is a very good person, I'm pleased his work, he is attentive to me. Finnaly, I'm sure that in my next visit to Istambul I'll select these apartments again. My recommendation: stay to Caravan Palace Apart and enjoy it.

Mr Ibrahim and his friend were very friendly. The appartmemt situated not far away from the sightseeing points but just at the living area of the locals . That was a great surprise for us, There is a fish market just about 10 minute walk with lots of restaurants. We enjoyed our stay here . Thank you Ibrahim.

Too much noise from the street all day and all night.at 4-5 am they are praying,it is more a hostel,no firm on the front of the building,hard to find it.

Mr Ibrahim, is a very helpful guy he's always there to help.Very good location, close to SultanAhmet but not a great surrounding though. Taxi is right on the corner of the building.room consists of one double bed, one single bed and one sofa bed and as we were 3 persons it was good enough.

The level of cleanliness of the room specially the bathroom was poor as we found small cockroach in the bathroom and the problem remained during our stay.we were asked if we need to clean the room daily!!(should be by default)and we said yes but the lady didn't show up for at least 2 days during our stay(7 days) and only one time the cleaning of the room was satisfactory whereas the bed sheets were never changed during our stay.In general I'd rate this as a 2 stars stay on the European Standards (May be 3 stars on the Turkish Standards).In Turkey to stay in a 3 stars European standard, you should book a 4 stars hotel.

Blue Moschee and Bazaar could by easily reached by foot, everything you need in neighborhood.

Corner around the apartment was quite noisy (honking), but it was still o.k.
