I got them a beautiful room with a balcony and took a smaller room with no balcony for myself.

I have been going to Cartagena for over 20 years, lived there for a time, and now rent my own apartment there, so I know the city very well, and this is a fabulous hotel that I would put my bug-phobic mother in!

The view from our room was breathtaking as it is really hard to have a bad view.

Would not stay but would go to the bar on the roof for the views, The pool was OK but not a resort pool.

Needless to say, the hotel management staff was not receptive to the problem and they refused to make ANY modification to our reservation stating that since we used an agency for our reservation we had to go through them to make any kind of change.
