This top-notch, classy, old hotel has an amazing location on the waterfront and offers guests every amenity they could ever want. The staff is extremely dedicated, the spa is great, and the incredible restaurant has a great selection of whiskeys and wines. The rooms are calm and peaceful.

Getting there

Situated on the waterfront, the hotel is a quiet getaway off the hustle and bustle of the city. Yet it is only minutes from the Victoria and Alfred Quay and the city center. The Cape Town international airport is but 17km away, which means that it will take you just a quarter of hour to get to and from the airport.

Getting around

There is a free private parking on-site, an airport shuttle is also provided. An additional touch is a free taxi with private chauffeur within 15 km radius of the Hotel (pre-booking is required). There is also a bicycle rental. The guests can also book an open top bus tour.

Food/drink prices on site were reasonable compared to prices at Waterfront restaurants and the ambience of the hotel made one feel that one was enveloped in the lap of luxury. The staff were amazing, the rooms were very luxurious and spacious, the bar was great. The breakfast buffet was excellent, one of the best i’ve been to.

Location is great for walking around Waterfront shops and this lovely hotel has everything to offer for anyone. Service is extremely attentive, the Signal restaurant has the most wonderful food and wine list etc good.

We loved everything from the location to the complimentary car service and the picnic baskets, the hotel has an intimate feeling and great and attentive staff. The rooms are good sized and food at One Waterfront is excellent, and the Whisky bar is superb. The spa is wonderful.

Location was excellent as right at Waterfront in the middle of things, the hotel staff were extremely helpful also and service was fantastic. The bathroom was amazing, the wine at the restaurant and bar was very nice and inexpensive.
