After waiting outside in Arizona heat we moved to a quieter casita, which, although nice, had a strangely uncomfortable bed.

The bed was very comfortable and the food was delicious.

We were told that the rooms would be a letdown, but the Ranch is in the midst of a big room renovation, and we were fortunate to get one of the refurbished rooms.

I had three rooms during my stay -- two were in renovated rooms and the third was an older room.

I've never slept in a more comfortable bed.

The meals wheather in the restaurant or cafe' delicious and kudos to an amazing facility.

A great salad bar every day, fresh fruit everywhere, lots of choices for each meal with calorie, fat, and fiber content noted.

The only nice and beautiful place was the restaurant by the pool, it was brand new, modern, contemporary and relaxing to hang out and eat.

The dining room staff ranged from competent to clueless, sometimes bringing the wrong dishes, no dishes, or giving false information about food content (such as the caffeine content of tea).

My favorites were the sesame crusted salmon, sorbets, salad bar, crab cakes and well, most everything was pretty tasty.

One more point, and that has to do with the staff “pushing services”.

The customer service could use improvement through staff training on how to treat guests, I noticed unprofessional behavior throughout the stay.

The locker/spa areas were especially luxurious, and the young staff was vigilant at every turn for cleanliness and service.

I found the reservations staff to be sort of cagey and/or uniformed about the variety of room types; be very specific about what you are looking for.

If you asked a spa employee about a fitness class, you'd get the right answer.

The food was excellent, as was the spa, as was the fitness areas, the medical areas, and the hotel.

The Ranch has a huge selection of fitness classes, hikes and bike trips, and it also has an enormous amount of pricy spa services to choose from.

Our room was perfectly clean and the food was pretty good.

The rooms are nothing special, but they are clean and newish.

The room was OK (I probably had an older room as it smelled slightly musty), and was quite dark, but it was clean and well-kept.

Our room was perfectly clean, all necessities provided.

Even housekeeping was great; every night we swiped our room's toiletries, and the next morning there was a fresh set.
