Cannery Pier Hotel Astoria

Beautiful location, historical old cannery completely re-done into a boutique hotel and the staff is efficient and friendly.

The view is awesome, the Cannery Pier Hotel is an amazing building in an amazing location and the lobby is very nicely arranged.

This new hotel has a great location just by the bridge in Astoria.

The pilot house was not available that night (I heard a news station owner took his wifey there for her birthday that night), but I see that it's quiet spendy!

A hallway, bedroom, bathroom (that had a jacuzzi tub, and a "toilet room" with a phone next to it!

The room had a separate bedroom with a king bed and TV.

A shuttered window between the bathroom and main room was the cause of a problem, as it allowed a lot out light out onto the bed when the bathroom was used during the night.

Although the view was great, the rooms very clean, and the bathroom lovely w/jetted tub, the extremely poor layout of the suite made it a real disappointment.

We loved the window seat, binoculars, fireplace, king size bed, and clawfoot bathtub (with a water view!

Astoria is a fun town, with galleries and good restaurants; the Urban Cafe is especially good for tasty and imaginative food, atmosphere and service.

The continental breakfast was fine and spencer - our driver for dinner was also very helpful.

They serve white wine, lox on bread with cream cheese every night and a lovely continental breakfast.

We soaked in the jacuzzi for a while in the late PM, it's open 24/7 and enjoyed their gym.

My only minor complaints would be I got the last towel for the sauna and the water jug was empty which would have been nice for anyone getting out of the sauna, spa or working out.

There was a spa/gym facilitiy but we did not take advantage.

The rooms very clean and great fireplaces.
