        Getting there

        The Hotel Candido is situated in walking distance from city center (2km) and close to La Granja royal palace (8km). A high-speed train station is 1km away and Barajas International Airport is within 90km. How to reach the hotel from Madrid: Take the A6 motorway, come off at the exit for San Rafael and join the A61 that goes to Segovia. When you get to the town centre, you will find a roundabout with a large sculpture of a shepherd. Go straight on and you will see the hotel on your left. From Chamartín you can take a high-speed train to Segovia, it usually takes 20 minutes.

        Getting around

        The Hotel Candido has an excellent location in Segovia. You can easily reach the most interesting sights on foot or take a bus; bus stop is 50m away from the hotel. To explore surroundings you can choose train (the station is 1km from the hotel) or rent a car in the hotel. Parking for guests’ cars is also available.

          A very good hotel in a splendid city of Segovia and spacious bathrooms, separate shower and bath tub.

          The situation is fairly good and the staff attention was great and the hotel itself is very beautiful. The bedrooms are lovely, mini bar is free and dinner menu needs to be more extensive.

          Facilities like indoor swimming are not included in the price and the outdoor swimming pool is not heated and we were told doesnt open the middle of June.

          The location was easy to get to and this hotel was spacious and luxurious. The staff at reception was very helpful and spoke English was great, the bathroom was excellent. Breakfast was very good.

          A taxi was not expensive, bar prices were too high and only the fact that the outdoor pool was closed even was 26 degrees outside.

          Quiet away from the city of Segovia and up on a hill. Excellent value for money, friendly staff and the bathroom was one of the best we have had in Europe. Free mini bar was great, breakfast was good and the pool was nice.
