The beach was always clean and our room was amazing the location was close to all the main places without any need to take a bus\taxi.

The location was wonderful -close to everything- LARGE beach and the atmosphere in both of were amazing.

They lure people from the airports with free trips, free taxis and then give them a free breakfast or lunch for exchange of a high pressure sales presentation which I hear could take 4 to 5 hours.

It may seem steep but bear in mind that taking a taxi from the airport/hotel and vice versa is $25 each way.

These rooms were beautifully decorated, with plasma TV on the wall, a jacuzzi in the bathroom (with a screen between the main room & bathroom that could be lowered by a touch of a button), and a very comfortable bed.

We wanted a suite with 2 double beds but when we got to our room there was 1 king and a murphey bed in the living room.

One family who moved there from the Regency Club for bed configurations said the rooms were rather standard, but the Premier building suite was larger than a standard Regency Club room, which was a generous 450 sq.

This building was just completed in December so the rooms are lovely with marble floors, a very large bath tub and a great shower room with three separate shower heads including a rainwater shower.

We left the maid a tip every morning on our bed, and she did a great job at keeping us clean, stocked with towels, and even provided those little "towel" swans on our beds when we came in for the evening.

As for food, we ate breakfast at the restaurant every morning.

We ate breakfast and lunch at the hotel, and ventured out to various other restaurants for dinner-one of the advantages of not being at an all-inclusive.

We would have breakfast in the main dining room where there is the option of a buffet if not included with your package and then for the evening, if you like Cajun food, the Blue Bayou is a sophisticated restaurant.

The rooms were nice, very clean, the breakfast buffet was delicious, and the bar and restaurant staff were very attentive.

We went to the Plantation, the lobster restaurant next door to Plantation (forget the name, but a great place for good sea food), and we ate at the restaurants at the JW Marriott (Lobster dinner) and the Ritz steak house.

Excellent service from all personnel - the staff were courtious and made every effort to make sure we were happy.

Service: We found the service at the hotel was always good, both the front desk and the daily maid service were friendly and efficient.

All hotel staff were excellent - Edith was the FANTASTIC, the service there was great and room was nice and cool.

Nice hotel staff, prompt service and the bedding was kind of scratchy.

The pool was about the size of a very large jacuzzi but plenty for private sunbathing.

If you stay in one of the villa rooms, you have access to a second small pool and jacuzzi outside of the Regency Club, from which you can look down onto the stunning ocean.

The only negatives i can say is that the hotel doesn't have a fitness gym.

The room was clean and the serevice was OK.

Our oceanview room was beautiful, spacious and very clean.

The staff was friendly, and our rooms and the grounds and the pools were extremely clean.

Our room was clean and we enjoyed the oceanfront view (7th floor).
