Stanley
I chose this hotel for a business consultation and was pleased to find a meeting room that met all current health standards. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and professional environment for my work.
I wish there had been a dedicated business center or office space available, as it would have been convenient for any last-minute printing or document preparation needs.

The Pros of my stay in Besancon were truly delightful. The ancient city centre, encircled by the river Doubs and protected by the Citadel of Besançon, made me feel like I was stepping into a fairytale. It was like being transported to a magical realm, where time stood still and beauty surrounded me at every turn. The Fortifications of Vauban, which are on the UNESCO World Heritage list, were a sight to behold. Their grandeur and historical significance left me in awe, and I couldn't help but imagine the stories they could tell. The Loue Valley, with its wonderful walks and enchanting scenery, was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. As I wandered through nature's masterpiece, I couldn't help but feel a sense of peace and tranquility wash over me. And finally, the Museum of Time, with its clock collection, was a true treasure trove of wonders. Each timepiece seemed to have its own unique story, and I found myself captivated by the intricate designs and the craftsmanship that went into creating them.
Musty smell in bathroom.

The staff were very friendly and most enjoyed their restaurant. Room was clean and tidy but the cups for tea and coffee could have been china as opposed to paper. Do not like to have shower over bath would have preferred walk in shower but perhaps that was our fault for not asking for shower as opposed to bath. Overall a good budget hotel as we got a good price booking via internet.

Position is good, close to the autoroute etc
Position is good but the map did not show the correct information for the road and street signs. Very confusing.

I recently stayed at Campanile in the northern outskirts. The location is convenient, especially since the town center is now bypassed. The restaurant offers a great selection of both a la carte and buffet options, and the food was delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and newly renovated. The breakfast provided a tasty continental spread. it was good value for money and had adequate parking.
Nothing to be said. 🚫

I really enjoyed the cozy and welcoming decoration of the hotel. The common areas were beautifully decorated with warm colors and comfortable seating areas, which made it a pleasant place to relax and unwind. The hotel also had good accessibility for senior people, with ramps and handrails in the corridors and elevators to easily access all floors.
If there was one thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people, it would be for the staff to be a bit more attentive and considerate. Sometimes, the children working there seemed a bit inexperienced and overwhelmed, and it would have been nice if they were more proactive in assisting guests, especially senior ones like myself.

I usually use Campanile Hotels in France due to their standards which make them comtetitive and affordable. Friendly staffs and meals services until 22 pm are ok. Not so noisy as I read, but this is a personal opinion (depending by the room localization).
Nevertheless, this is not the best one I visited for sure. Rooms need a refresh, definitely. And, never seen so small ones 'til now! The price is not very exciting for a so weak global situation.

We stayed at a convenient motel that provided a good value for a one-night stopover. The location was ideal, just off the autoroute, making it easy to find. The room and bathroom were clean, and each guest was provided with a towel. We enjoyed a decent dinner in the restaurant with English menu available, and the staff was friendly and English speaking. The motel was located on the northern outskirts of the town, which made it easier to navigate on the way to Switzerland.
Unlike some hotels, this motel did not have soundproof rooms, which might make it less than ideal for light sleepers.
