The location is ideal – just a few blocks from the Cathedral.

Great location, the hotel was nice and charming, the staff were all very helpful.

The location couldn't be more convenient to the historic sites of the city and the hotel is beautiful.

In Puebla's crowded central historical area, the hotel has good location and in such a great city in a historic building.

For going to and from Puebla, if you don't want to pay for private transport, you can get a very comfortable direct bus between Puebla and the Mexico City airport.

Other reviewers have mentioned small rooms, but ours was quite large, as was the bathroom.

The room was very nice with a Talavera tiled bathroom that was worth a photo itself.

We had two rooms one for me my wife and daughter(12) and one for my in laws (70) and they had arraged only king size beds and had no folding beds so took them some 20 min.

I was lucky to have a room overlooking the main courtyard, with the spires of the churches over the wall, but the rooms all view one of the 3 courtyards.

It would be nice if the hotel put seats outside each of the guest rooms that open out onto the courtyard.

Obviously this was not their peak season as everything in the hotel except for the restaurant and the bar were always closed.

The hotel has good location and garage parking, the courtyard and lobby are beautiful, and the price is reasonable (Note: they convert their US$80 rate into pesos at a poor exchange rate so the actual bill is closer to US$85-90).

Only thing missing maybe could of been a nice pool.

There is no landscaping in the huge courtyard, and no place to sit down and relax, except on on couch in the small lobby area.
