Staff very helpful during flight cancellation situation because of Iceland volcano I was able to keep my room for several more days and the best aspect of this hotel was the location.
In a central location and the trams near the door were great.
Its quiet side street location is a plus and the rooms are large.
A 10 minute tram ride on line 16 from Gare Cornovin to stop Villereuse and a short walk back finds you at Hotel Calvy, on a one lane sidestreet.
At least 20 mins back to transportation is.

With trepidation, thinking I was going to find a tiny european hotel room with no room for an extra fold out bed, I took the key and went upstairs.

We booked online through AOL travel as a family of 2 adults/3 kids, but when we arrived we were told by the front desk that our reservation was for 2 adults/2 kids.

In any case, its an ok hotel, nothing charming/fancy about it, close walking distance to the lake and tourist area, off the beaten path on a tiny little side street with no parking ; you park in a parking garage a few blocks away.
Bathroom was clean as well and the restaurant was fine.
However, it was very clean and the room maintenance was exceptionally good.
