Overall, I would like to see what the other hotels have to offer around the same price range.
We loved the location - close to restaurants and a grocery store.
Good location in the middle between the laid back clubs, the atmosphere was great and the service was excellent as well.
Perfect location within walking distance to Disco Beach and Tacos & Beer.
Walking distance to a lot of things, and if you need to take a taxi we didn't pay more than $50 pesos (about $5).
A cab ride to either would only take 10 min at the most.
The beds were big and comfy as well as the bathroom and sink area.
The service was good and the king-sized bed was clean.
The king-sized bed was clean and very comfortable.
50 for drinking a bottle of water that was in the room, they charged us for putting extra people in the room, and they wanted to charge us for the beach towels that we forgot to turn in.
The rooms were spacious, the towels and bedding was always fresh and besides the language barrier, the staff was friendly.
VERYY nice hotel ,clean, staff VERYYY friendly,located in the middle of the best nightclubs ,restaurants , and a few steps of the shopping district, and located exactly on the beach, and they have 2 dj's on the pool and a bar!
They offered a wide variety of amercanized and typical mexican breakfast items and allowed you to create your own dishes depending on your taste.
We ventured to some of the smaller restaurants near the hotel the food quality was great, cheap and someof the best tasting food we had our whole trip.
The "all-inclusive" meal plan is only good during certain hours in the hotel restaurant.
The all inclusive plan included breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The service at the front desk was rude and not helpfull at all.
Thinks to (victor) waiter staff in the buffet.
Service was at a drop of a hat, and when we accidentally locked everything in our lock box, someone was there immediately to help us retrieve our mistake.
We always tipped additional and so I think it showed in the service we recieved).
As with any hotel there are problems; the pool is not that great and the elevators are slow.
They had a live band in the lobby on Friday night and live music and a DJ by the pool all day Friday and Saturday.
As well as open bar in the lobby and in the pool.
The room was clean, the breakfast buffet at Calinda’s was mediocre at best.
Rooms: very clean and big, good choice for travelling on a budget.
In addition the prices were reasonable, staff were very nice - especially Victor and the room was clean.
Location is great for walking to restaurants, pros: The hotel is nice and rooms are big and clean.
The room was clean and did have a bay view.
