Cala Di Volpe Boutique Hotel Montevideo - 蒙得维的亚

Beautiful hotel, amazing location overlooking the ocean, close to a promenda, close to great beaches in the Carrasco area.

Great location, a little high in price and the food was very good.

As regards location, its a short taxi ride to the city centre but a great walk on the rambles around the seafront for a more pleasant way of getting to the city.

The Cala di Volpe is about a half hour drive from Montevideo's Carrasco airport, and we took a taxi from the airport to the hotel for about $20 USD plus tip.

Hotel is right on the active beach front very near the Punta Carretas shopping and a 10 minute taxi ride to the Ciudad Vieja.

Televisions in guest rooms are HD and have about 35 cable channels available, with some channels in English language with Spanish subtitles.

Bedrooms are well furnished and the beds are of a good quality.

The rooms are very comfortable, the beds especially, and a good size.

The room we stayed in had two single beds and were comfortable but small.

They did not have a breakfast buffet but breakfast is included in the room price and can be delivered to the rooms.

The little bar/restaurant of the hotel is great, too.

The Cala di Volpe's restaurant serves a decent complimentary European style buffet breakfast each day from 7 AM until 10:45 AM.

The real surprise for us was the restaurant--it may be one of the best restaurants in Montevideo.

They had one restaurant that served good food.

Near the food court is the "El Fogon" parilla type restaurant which always seemed packed with locals enjoying the great grilled meats!

The staff at reception are amazingly helpful and genuinely friendly - I don't know how many languages they speak between them, but certainly a lot.

It was quiet, relaxing, and well-managed with attentive Staff at your service.

You won't be blown away by the pool or gym as they are tiny but they are rooftop and offer great views if nothing else!

They also have a small rooftop pool and a sauna and small exercise room, including a stationary bike and treadmill in a room adjacent to the pool.

The pool is a large outdoor bathtub and the gym consists of two treadmills.

La habitación es confortable y la conexion a internet wi-fi aunque con interferencias suele funcionar.

That costed to us more or less U$S 40 more for each one, adding U$S 34 to obtain 2 days of wi-fi connection to work, comparing with the free internet at Cala Di Volpe.

The rooms are smaller than in the US but clean and comfortable.

The rooms were a little small but nice and clean.
