We had a balcony. Located in 1 mile from Urca. This hotel was a brilliant base for for one night. Zona Sul district definitely deserves exploring...

Junior Suite is comfortable (except ridiculously small bathroom).

The bathroom was the smallest I ever experienced and this in spite of a Junior suite type accomodation! Breakfast very disappointing for this level hotel. Noise from street quite strong. Swimmingpool badly organised with unpleasant pool attendant.

I loved the convenient location of this hotel. Being near the Botafogo metro station made exploring this city a breeze. Plus, I was able to visit nearby attractions like the Fogo de Chao restaurant and Sugar Loaf mountain which is only a 15-minute walk away. The hotel facilities were great - especially the swimming pool area - and the staff were attentive and friendly.

I absolutely loved my stay at this luxurious hotel in Rio! The location was perfect, right in the heart of the bustling business district, making it convenient for both work and leisure. The room was spacious and well-appointed, with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The balcony offered stunning views of the city, especially the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue. The staff were attentive and friendly, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The swimming pool area was a highlight, with a refreshing pool and plenty of space to relax and soak up the sun.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

We had a great stay in a convenient location close to the metro station and downtown area where most business is conducted. We were pleasantly surprised by the walkability to the Pão de Açúcar tramway and many good restaurants nearby. The room was clean, comfortable with nice linens, and had a fantastic view of Cristo Redentor. The staff was accommodating and friendly.

The bathroom was a bit outdated and could use some renovation.

We had a wonderful romantic escape in this hotel. The view from our room was amazing, with a stunning sight of the city and mountains in the distance. Plus, the staff was kind and helpful, always greeting us with a warm smile. The location was perfect, close to shops, restaurants, and transportation.

Some parts of the hotel could use an upgrade. The furniture was a bit old, and the bathroom was not as clean as we expected.

Our stay at Mercure was overall pleasant. The staff at the front desk, especially Junior Martinez, were helpful and accommodating. The room we stayed in on the second floor was comfortable and clean. The hotel is conveniently located near the Botafogo Metro Station, making it easy to explore the city. Although there were some noises from the nearby gas station, it didn't disrupt our sleep significantly. The breakfast provided was fair and enjoyable. Despite a few minor drawbacks, I would recommend this hotel for its friendly staff and comfortable rooms.

Stayed here for Xmas and it was a great experience. First, the rooms were spacious and clean. Second, the friendly and helpful staff made our stay pleasant. The hotel is situated in a decent area with convenient access to public transportation and within short distance of stores and restaurants. we enjoyed the stunning view from the balcony, it was breathtaking.

One issue we have was the breakfast, it wasn't the best I have had but it was okay. The dining area is a bit small and it was crowded.
