We have stayed at many hotels in many places (not elegant, but economy version). Hotel Byzantino is decidedly the finest setting ever in our experience: the overall attractiveness, newness (8 years), spaciousness of room, appointment of decor, helpfulness of staff, convenient walking to city points, and all for an amazingly low price. We would commend this hotel to anyone!
Not a complaint, just a suggestion: The room would be even more comfortable if there were one or 2 more small chairs.

Helpful and pleasant staff - they found a place for our bicycles. Good breakfast. Spacious and comfortable rooms. Reasonably quiet for a hotel in Patras within walking distance of the port.

Actually we cannot fault the hotel on anything! The room (triple) had two double beads in, was very spacious, the beds comfortable, shower very good, room quiet (we asked for a quiet room), the breakfast was great - lovely omelets and a big variety of pastries and breads. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the internet connection great.

The location was great. Situated on a pedestrian walk area, we had easy access to shops and cafes. the hotel had a restaurant that served good food at reasonable prices. These two aspects were the only redeeming features of our stay.
First of all, the rooms were a major disappointment. The AC wasn't working when we arrived, and even though they changed our room twice, we still had issues.

The location was great, in the middle of the centre near the shops. Quiet street. The room was spacious, with a very large and comfortable bed.
The shower was great, except that you couldn't hang up the shower head, which is a bit of a nuisance. There was not enough staff in the breakfast room to clean the tables in time for the next guests.

Don't have any issues at all.

First impression was very good, the foyer & bar area are tastefully decorated & reception staff tried to be helpful (although there was some language barrier). Hotel is situated very close to the town shopping centre & there are many bars/cafes nearby. The breakfast was delicious, best Greek yoghurt & honey I have ever eaten, the fresh warm pastries were delicious & the omelette was very tasty, good variety of options were served so there should be something to suit everyone. The airconditioning was very efficient which was a real bonus in August! The bathroom was of a good size & although the room was a bit on the small side, the bed was comfortable (if you like a firm bed) & it was nice to face into the atrium which made the room very quiet but light & airy. We would stay here again or recommend it to others.
By way of a suggestion, tourist information in Patra is very limited & the only information available at the hotel was not in English. A better town map with the local tourist sites marked on it would have been a real bonus.

Very nice decoration of the interior. Centrally located so very convenient for shopping and going out in general without the need for taxi or car.
Our room had no windows, only skylights.

Central location, very clean. We were pleasantly surprised with our stay at Byzantino. The hotel's central location allowed us to easily explore the vibrant streets of Patras. The room was impeccably clean, and it felt refreshing to return to such a tidy space after a long day of sightseeing.
Although there were a few minor drawbacks, such as the small twin beds and the slightly outdated decor in some areas of the hotel, these did not significantly impact our overall experience. The warm and friendly staff made us feel welcome and attended to our needs throughout our stay.

We had a fantastic stay at this luxurious hotel! The location couldn't have been better - right in the heart of the city center on a vibrant pedestrian street. We loved the energy and the variety of coffee shops and amenities nearby. The service here was impeccable, with friendly staff who went above and beyond. The hotel's ambience was unique and charming, creating a peaceful oasis amidst the bustling streets. The breakfast was a highlight, offering a rich and high-quality selection that included fresh homemade pastries, organic tea, and even live piano music. We couldn't recommend this place enough!
We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay.
