    Furthermore the rooms are old style romantic, the service is excellent and hot water faucet in my sink 'groaned' noisily everytime I turned on.

    The place is beautiful, the staff is in general very helpful and rooms are wonderful.

    Huge room and salad-phobia that taints much traditional Portuguese cuisine.

    Staff were great, the bathroom was updated somwhat and the dinner at the restaurant was very good.

    A luxurious place for love nature, rooms are spacious.

    The food is not the pinnacle of high cuisine.

    The buffet breakfast delicious and amidst beautiful gardens.

    Bar need to be completely renovated, the gardens are very well maintained.

    Delicious food and beautiful lush English gardens.

    Kind a mystic atmosphere were unce was placed a monastery and the staff were nice and courteous.

    Fantastic value for money and the staff was wonderful and accomodating.

    The hotel provides maps of various hikes and the service was very good.

      Fabulous and magical place in the forest of Portugal, the staff were excellent folks, the room was a huge disapointment. The breakfast was good.

      Beautiful walks in the forest and for a luxury hotel lacked luxury. The building is astonishing and rating of 5 stars is too high. Not especially the rooms are like a nice old style English BB and the service could not be more kind and attentive. Bar need to be completely renovated, the gardens are very well maintained.

      The common areas are stunningly beautiful and beautifully old-fashioned hotel that should retain its uniqueness.
