One of the world's first skyscrapers back when it was constructed in 1895 by Daniel Burnham this is a stunningly renovated landmark with lots of plate glass, charming rooms and amazingly efficient and professional staff.

Centrally located in Chicago, the Hotel Burnham, a Kimpton Hotel, is close to Chicago's Millennium Park, the key business establishments, vibrant entertainment venues, upscale shopping and theatres.

Housed in a National Historic Landmark building, this four-star boutique property offers modern conveniences whilst retaining its historical charm.

The hotel is composed of 122 non-smoking rooms, each is appointed in a tasteful modern style, with a sophisticated palette of red, gold and blue. In-room fittings include 37" flat screen TV, free Wi-Fi and Aveda bath amenities.

The Atwood Café is a contemporary American restaurant with a skillfully-created menu based on traditional dishes.

Chicago O'Hare International Airport is approximately 25.1km from the hotel.

By car: Take I-90/Kennedy Expressway or I-94/Edens Expressway eastbound to the downtown Chicago area. Exit at Monroe (exit number 51E). Turn left; follow to Dearborn Street (about a mile). Turn left; go one block north to Washington. Turn right and the Hotel Burnham will be on the right side just before State Street at 1 W. Washington Street.
