I chose this hotel for attending a seminar and it provided 2 meeting rooms available for events. The complimentary wired Internet access and computer station were very useful for my work. The 24-hour front desk was always ready to assist.

One service that I missed for my work was a business center. It would have been helpful to have a dedicated space with printing and copying facilities.

I always stay at this place in Matsumoto. The helpful staff guided me to great spots. It suits me perfectly with Wi-Fi, luggage storage, and a 24-hour reception. I love the bar, restaurant, and free shuttle. It has massage, laundry, a lift, and an electric kettle. Perfect! Can't wait to come back for New Year's!

Comfortable, well appointed hotel with excellent standards of service from its friendly and attentive staff. Room a good size with comfortable beds and free wired internet. Several resturants; we ate in the chinese Seishika resturant where the meal was good. Courtesy bus to the station which was welcome in the rain on departure.

Breakfast in Sopresa resturant on top floor offers excellent selection and great views. However, at almost 1900 yen per person (about £15 or $24) you need to eat well to get good value.

Enjoyable experience there. Good standard hotel in a perfect position in the center of Matsumoto in the Japanese Alps. Good-sized room with clean bathroom, shower plus a great view of the mountains. Helpful and attentive staff during our stay.

Friendly Staff and Good Location

Staff were friendly, always willing to help, but most did not speak English well. The hotel has a good location, close to restaurants and shops, making it easy to get around. The shuttle service was also a plus, making it easy to get to the train station.

The air conditioning unit in our room was not working properly, making it very uncomfortable to sleep. The breakfast selection was also quite limited, with only a few options available.

The hotel was conveniently located close to transportation, making it easy to explore the city. The cleanliness of the hotel facilities was impressive and the breakfast provided was enjoyable. The staff were fantastic and always willing to assist with anything needed.

A really good way to end my trip. Good standard hotel with wonderful view over the town. Location near to the center of Matsumoto in the Japanese Alps and the castle, restaurants. For tea or coffee visit Cafe & Resto Shiosai nearby.

The staff were amazing and really went the extra mile to ensure our stay was perfect. The porter drove me to the train station when I was running late, and even though I missed my train, they tried their best to help. Special thanks to Ms Nakamata for her exceptional assistance in planning our itinerary. The hotel offers a convenient shuttle bus to the train station, which was a nice touch especially with our heavy luggage. The upgraded room was nice and renovated, although the furniture was a bit worn. The bathroom was small but spotlessly clean. The hotel's foyer had a cozy fireplace where we enjoyed delicious coffee and cakes. The view from the bar on the top floor was jaw-dropping. The bakery and gift shop downstairs were lovely. The location was perfect, with easy access to the train station and nearby sights. The staff resolved our billing confusion with friendliness and competence. a super satisfying stay with incredible staff and great amenities like Wi-Fi, luggage storage, 24-hour reception, bar/lounge area, restaurant.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in the Japanese Alps. The location was perfect, right in the center of the city, but in a quiet area overlooking a beautiful park. The staff were kind and helpful, especially Ms. Nakamata, who went out of her way to assist us with our sightseeing plans. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed, like a mini-bar, ironing facilities, and a flat-screen TV. The hotel offered a range of services, including room service and a free shuttle service to the train station, making our stay even more convenient. We even had access to the hotel's lounge, where we enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea. this place exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Our room at the Buena Vista had large twin beds which were very comfortable. The size of the room was also good, providing enough space for us to move around comfortably. The breakfast offered at the hotel was quite good and we enjoyed the views over the town from the 14th-floor location. The hotel's convenient location near restaurants and shops was a bonus. I would recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay.
