If you want a cheap hotel and you dont mind being asked for money to feed peoples habits then this is the hotel for you!

While the location didn't seem too good (bars on windows and doors of neighboring businesses and lots of what appeared to be street people hanging around), this hotel made up for it in service and value.

It's a budget hotel, hard to beat the price ($39 CAD in low season), especially for the single traveler.

Once inside the hotel, everything is o'kay and if all you care is to save some money, this is a good choice.

Good location close downtown and everything!

Additionally the location is ideal you plan on visiting several areas of Vancouver and the reading corner in the hotel.

I must admit that the location of the Budget Patricia is not the best but I found the hotel to be more then what I expected from a 'budget' hotel.

When I checked out, the front office person even offered to call a cab for me to go to the airport.

Located easy taxi ride from cruise terminal and the roads were just built so is good to walk on.

Very good hotel clean, friendly staff and the bathroom was large except the room we stayed in only had a bathtub.

Dinner was at an adjoining bar/restaurant (I wouldn't have been comfortable leaving the hotel at night on our own).

With the money I saved istaying at this hotel (June 30-July 3), I shopped at Guess, BeBe's, Armani exchange, etc, and ate at some really great restaurants.

As a woman travelling by myself I appreciated the meals in the bar attached to the hotel and excellent staff.

We paid less than half what the first night's hotel cost and got breakfast, too!

There is a pub - we had breakfast there - no complaints.

Hotel staff was really good and up the last day the people on duty at reception were excellent.

The price is cheap and the lobby is nice.

Wide-window lobby is good for my study for an exam.

Lobby is great, lots of character, nice to read in.

    While the location didn't seem too good (bars on windows and doors of neighboring businesses and lots of what appeared to be street people hanging around), this hotel made up for it in service and value. Dinner was at an adjoining bar/restaurant (I wouldn't have been comfortable leaving the hotel at night on our own). The food was plentiful, of good quality and certainly priced well - less than $25 for two steak dinners and beer. We had an ample breakfast included in the very reasonable price of the room.

    Our room was small and lacked air conditioning but had a fan and drapes that blocked the evening sun so it wasn't uncomfortable, even in July.

    Good value for money, low rates and the lobby/lounge large. Helpful staff, clean rooms and cool bar downstairs. Near a vn restaurant, onsite parking facility was important since I drove up from Seattle.

    The only thing i didn't like was the location and that road was dirty.
