I finally found a so-so mattress at a nearby hotel they also owned, but the next morning, about an hour before checkout, my bathroom ran out of toilet paper and I stepped into the hall to request more from the person who was cleaning the rooms.
The staff was very friendly and the room was good.
The carpet was dirty, the mattress was harder than a sidewalk, and when I explained that I don't sleep well on extra-firm mattresses and asked for my money back, they kept showing me more and more rooms containing mattresses with about the same rigid firmness.
The same guy who'd shown me endless rooms the night before refused to replace the roll, saying, "You're checking out today anyway.
Not even close to being worth the $55 I paid for the room, and if you have any complaints, management has no interest in resolving them.
Got up early to get breakfast before check out @11:00.
The manager offered an excellent rate since I was in town on business, customer service was great and the room was clean smoky.
Staff was nice, the room was clean and the continental breakfast was superb.
The staff was friendly, our room was clean.
