Im so glad we did as the hotel is lovely, in a great location and amazing value for money.
The hotel itself is smallish but very well presented and good value for money.
Some excellent chocolate shops, comfortable hotel and its well worth the money.
This hotel is toward the budget end of the scale and obviously is not going to be as luxurious as a hotel that costs 3 or 4 times more per night.
Quiet location, lovely atmosphere and nearby De Witte Pelikan great for Xmas decorations.

It's about a 20 minute walk from the train station (which is on the south edge of the old town) but there are buses that go very near the hotel, and Bruges is very flat so it's easy walking (just don't wear heels because of the cobblestones).
The canal boat, horse drawn carriage & tour bus are all good ways to view the city but nothing beats good old leg power and we walked for miles!
The room was a good size, full size over bath shower, mini bar, tea & coffee etc, very comfy bed and nice and clean.
The bathroom was almost as big as the bedroom with a large bathtub and shower, sparkling white tiles everywhere and far superior to what we have at home!
The service is friendly and very wide double bed.
The room (no 34) was on the second floor and was very clean with a good sized bathroom.
The bed and the pillows were comfortable and a spare blanket was available (it is fairly cold at this time of year).
By the way, dont miss eating at the Hussar restaurant which you walk past on your way to Markt Square from the hotel - unbeatable food.
The service is friendly, the dining room is charming and the breakfast is good.
Breakfast is as good as everyone else has said (although it is easy to eat too much!
There are many restaurants and shops in the immediate vicinity and we'd recommend a horse and carriage ride - great fun - and you see some really pretty smaller side streets that you probably wouldn't have found otherwise!
The breakfast was good (nice breads, cereals, fruits, cold meats and cheeses - typical fare, but nicely done in a lovely dining room).
The hotel itself was in central Brugge and the staff was friendly.
In addition the staff was friendly and comfortable the furniture was starting to show 's age.

Hotel offers parking space 5 min walk away, but this is cramped.
