Hotel Brunelleschi Florence - 佛罗伦萨

The location was excellent - could not have been better located and the hotel staff were on a whole friendly and helpful.

This hotel was selected because of its location and price - close to the Duomo and not badly priced (about $300 per night for two).

Most of all, this hotel is in a prime location- walking distance to the Duomo, Uffizi, Ponte Vecchio, and all of the best shops.

The small museum in the basement of the hotel was an interesting diversion whilst we awaited our taxi to the airport.

We got the train from the airport then a taxi to hotel.

Although our room was small, we had a queen sized bed with about two feet (less than a meter) clearance on either side, the bathroom was huge by European standards.

Room was stylish and very nice with a large very comfortable bed.

After trawling through the usual agency websites, I had found the best deal to be on the hotel's own website, and had asked for a twin-bed non-smoking room on the top floor.

The bedroom, bathroom, and room lobby all had high ceilings, aiding the feeling of space.

The bedroom was perfectly adequate, the bed very comfortable.

The bar was welcoming and the breakfast was also very good.

The breakfast comprised a superb buffet of cold meats, pastries, fruit and hot sausages/bacon and egg, with the additional option of other breakfasts if you wished.

The breakfast was ok but again the staff were rude and everything seemed to be a problem, I had a drink in the bar whilst waiting for my parents and the barman seemed quite nice but according to my parents he was the only one.

The hotel breakfast was served in the first floor restaurant and was a typical top-notch Italian experience; lots of lovely meats, fruits, pastries, breads and cheeses.

We found the front desk staff to be very accomodating, especially the concierge who arranged many dinner reservations and outings for us.

Service was impeccable and staff VERY helpful in every way-from making reservation @ museums, to suggestions for dinner, obtaining a driver for us.

The service, staff, cleanliness, comfort etc were all exemplary.

In an Excellent location: perfectly central to all the sites, efficient welcome and the staff were friendly the service courteous.

The elevator are small and we had to use two for our floor, but they work fine.

They also helped us pay a parking ticket that we got in Siena.

Need to walk a few steps to get to the elevator level.

The room was ok - clean and tidy but dated and shabby round the edges.

My room was clean and looked newly-furnished, not "old".

Reception are bright, the rooms are clean.

Perfect if you want a high standard of hotel, without having to pay too much for it, in the best possible locaion in the city, with slightly dated but clean and wellkept decor, relaxing, quiet, spacious rooms, and friendly staff.

Room was excellent, very clean and decor/fittings etc were superb.
