Brookstown Inn Winston-Salem - Winston Salem

This great location is located at the edge of Old Salem, the Brookstown Inn is a lovely and the staff are the best.

Downtown location is good: the Inn is attached by a pretty little brick terrace to a Winston-Salem Visitor center, and within a block or so of Old Salem.

Historic district of Salem, nice location and the hotel staff was friendly and accomodating.

The location is great and the Brookstown Inn is charming.

Fixtures in the rooms wastes a good location in a great city, comfortable hotel and from the completely charming building.

The room we were given had 2 full bed not queen beds and was a smoking room when I said something to the desk,more "attitude".

Pleasant bed rooms, high ceilings and very good restaurant next door.

Up a few stairs was a loft with the bed and bath.

The main building has huge, pleasant bed rooms, a relaxing lobby, and a quiet brick patio area for outdoor relaxation.

A very large room, comfortable beds, very good bathroom.

Clean rooms, a bi-fold door enclosed the wet bar and the restaurant dinner cuisine was remarkably delicious.

I did eat breakfast in the morning; it's a self-service breakfast (you cook your own waffles, etc.

The breakfast the next morning was very good.

We did, however, find some great local restaurants that were open.

We dined at the Cotton Mill restaurant on the premises.

Surrounding area to the friendly staff, great value and the service was first class - the people were charming and polite.

The staff is very helpful and competent, the rooms are very large, the front desk clerk helped us find a good restaurant.

Nice staff and clean, the employee signed us in was friendly and gracious.

The service and food were excellent although menu items were a bit pricey.

During all this, a guest confined to a wheelchair waited in the lobby while her family went to fetch breakfast for her as she was unable to access the dining room herself to join them because there was no ramp or elevator to that level of the hotel.

All of this was offered in a nice dining area just off the main lobby.

The hotel has free wi-fi, but speeds are rather slow.

Very nice historic hotel, the lady at the front desk was very friendly and the room was clean and tidy.

The room was clean and tidy, the loft for the sleeping area made the room feel very large.

We stayed in a king room which was clean and well appointed.

The room was spacious, clean, and well outfitted.

Moreover rooms were clean and the continental breakfast was nothing special.
